Canadian company Haply Robotics has launched a campaign on Kickstarter for its new development, the MinVerse 3D tactile mouse.

This device is designed to work with 3D objects, offering users the ability to not only control them, but also feel textures and resistance thanks to force feedback. MinVerse is aimed at gamers, 3D designers, engineers and robotics enthusiasts, providing a more comfortable and intuitive way to interact with 3D space compared to traditional mice.

The mouse supports an open API, allowing developers to integrate it into a variety of applications. At launch, it is compatible with programmes such as Blender and RoboDK. The device is compact in size and weighs 1.2kg, with an input range of 145 x 330 x 250mm. The MinVerse, priced at $1500, will be available to the first customers at a lower price and will be delivered in autumn 2025.
