In 2013 I was approached by a small 3D / VFX studio (Dwarf Animation Studio) composed of just 10 employees to take up the challenge of building an infrastructure that would accommodate more than 120 CG artists and a large rendering farm. We were only 2 developers the first year and 5 when I left.
I learned a lot about the linux infrastructure, security, bash, python, rabbitMQ, REST, SOA, the development of plugins for DCCs, teamwork under pressure, gitflow, scrum...
I worked with them for 4 years and today the studio has become one of the leaders in France and works with the biggest (Cartier, Netflix, Disney...)

Finally in 2017, when I planned to come to Canada, I wanted to focus on the development of video games and I joined a start up specialized in VR and the development of various applications, composed of only two talented artists very ambitious to change their field of activity to create their first video game.

I was able to bring them a lot of my previous experience in terms of organization and infrastructure.

Except that at the same time, they signed a partnership agreement with a communication agency which won our first serious game contract with the international firm Total.

So, I had barely 4 months to update myself, relearn Unity with all its updates since my master's degree. I had to develop the entire game with only two CG artists as support.
We took up the challenge brilliantly, the client was really happy with our work.

And a few months later, after a few web, VR, and Unreal Engine development projects, our previous success won us an even bigger contract. A much more complex serious game opposing in competition, over a period of 4 months, all Crédit Agricole and LCL employees from France and Belgium.
I developed the entire game with Unity, the gameplay, UI, AI, encrypted communication with the server, a secure php server and duplicated database on GCP to support the load of 10,000 connections.
This one-year project taught me a lot.
